There is a saying that goes like this, or so I heard:

"How big is a human's heart?"
"Just a little bigger than the world." (never enough)

I'd say:

"How big is God's love for humans?"
"Just a little bigger than a human's heart." (more than enough)

"You doubted me."

That's what our GM said when he successfully grabbed a fax machine, piled over four other boxes, from the overs.

I knew I couldn't do it with the ladder, and I wasn't sure whether he would be able to reach it so I voiced my concern when I asked him. Being short little me and standing at the base of the ladder looking up, I misjudged the difficulty.

Isn't it the same a lot of the times with God, too? I often think something is not possible or doable because I can't do it, and therefore doubt that God can do it, forgetting the fact that God is not me. XP

So, to our GM and my God, "Sorry, I won't doubt you anymore." ^__^

Day 3 of the Youth Conference

Due to some head ache and stomach ache, I was unable to attend the morning worship and workshop, ちょっと残念。

During the Women's Talk, many sisters were ministered to and set free from their pain, shame, and guilt. It is indeed a very painful thing that they have to go through. It especially made me grateful that God has shielded me and protected me from such thus far.

The work of the Holy Spirit was strong tonight again, and we had a superbly wonderful party praising and giving glory to the Lord. It lasted a lot longer than the scheduled time, but I didn't really care. God was there, and He touched me (and many other people!) with His Spirit and His power.

Now that the youth conference is nearing its end, I must give thanks to all the co-workers who have spend countless hours praying, preparing, and serving. I see God's love through you guys, and I see unity in you. God is surely going to reward you greatly in Heaven! :)

Day 2 of the Youth Conference

Man! The power of the Holy Spirit was with us from the beginning, and the scheduled evening sermon became a prayer meeting where God worked among us. Many were set free by the Holy Spirit.

あの時、イエスさまに約束しだ。何があっても絶対不退転、たとえ仕事のことやともたちのこと。神様の真理は絶対だ。そして、私の人生にその価値観と基準お実現する、聖霊も私お助けて。これが私と神様の約束。

Day 1 of the 2004 Youth Conference.

the Spirit was pretty strong since praise and worship, no doubt the result of many hours of praying and great expectation from people. Tears wouldn't stop the moment we moved into worship for long minutes.

The message by Pastor Mike was very simulating. I had a little trouble understanding it sometimes because of the New Zealand accent and the overlapping translation, but it was great. We are indeed the new generation, and we should act it accordingly.

The new generation that God is rising up:

1) Have faith
- faith makes the impossible possible

2) Are willing to take risks
- we don't see miracles of God if we stay in the same zone

3) Focus on possibilities
- God's work is only limited by disbelief

4) Involve in teamwork and committed relationship
- be a team player and friend of people

5) Act boldly and not intimidated
- pray for the spirit of boldness

6) Experience God's power flowing through them
- when God is moving, be part of it
